Sweet Summer Shortcakes

What You Need
4 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
1/4 cup sugar
2-1/3 cups all-purpose baking mix
1/2 cup milk
3 Tbsp. sugar
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
1-1/2 cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
- Heat oven to 425°F.
- Toss strawberries with 1/4 cup sugar.
- Stir baking mix, milk, 3 Tbsp. sugar and butter in large bowl until mixture forms soft dough. Drop into 6 mounds, 2 inches apart, on baking sheet.
- Bake 10 to 12 min. or until golden brown. Cool slightly.
- Split shortcakes; fill and top with strawberries and COOL WHIP.
