I’ve chosen real estate investing as a vehicle for wealth creation, but I’ve never really taken the time to explain why I’ve chosen real estate investing and why I believe it is (one of the) great ways of achieving financial freedom. Hopefully, this article will explain why I like real estate investing so much, and why I believe that real estate is a great wealth creator for everyone.

Inspection day is a big day during your home buying process. It’s your opportunity to understand the true condition of your home and pinpoint any issues before you buy. It can be a fun yet exhausting day so to make things easier, here are a few key things you should look at when inspecting your home.


Look around the interior walls and ceilings of each room. Are there apparent cracks or shifts in the foundation? Do the same around the outside. Does the foundation appear straight? Walk the perimeter of the home to inspect if there are any trees that may be encroaching on the structure of the foundation.


Take a look outside at the exterior of the home. Are the gutters firmly attached? Are there any loose wires or

Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Easter egg fruit pizza


  • 1 pouch (1lb 1.5oz) sugar cookie mix (or your favorite "from scratch" recipe)
  • ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 4 oz (1/2 brick) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 Tablespoon powdered sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla
  • ½ cup strawberries, chopped
  • approx. 3 cups fruit cut into pieces (I used strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries) 


  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and grease a 13″ pizza pan and set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, add the cookie mix, melted butter, and egg and mix with a spoon until a soft dough forms.
  3. Press the dough evenly onto the pan.
  4. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown. Let it cool completely, about 45 minutes. Cut into
